Another debutante at the Ambiente Frankfurt, this little Japanese beauty arrived in 2014, with ambition to reignite the emotions of the teetotallers of old and bring out the best in tea.

How? The complete teacup with handle is man-made - much like the hand-made cups of the The Heian period - crafted for  ‘Bistro' World which means 'quickly',  There's a lovely built-in handle and that famous inner loop.  Just stick it (Tpod) in not just for fun of it but instead for “coaxing & squeezing” the liquor out of the tea real quick.
Masahiro Takada's design taste would later find its way onto Bistro Queen series and even the beauty-tea line (yep, the Japanese cosmetics with those great visible results).
