Bavarian beauty… meticulously crafted porcelain cup from Seltmann Bavaria

Thick, high fired porcelain is the preferred standard for espresso and Bistrotea.. Original Italian espresso cup porcelain is fired at 1800F and above. This gives the cup a better glaze, makes it stronger, and less prone to breaking. How do you tell what cups are fired at what temperature? Well, if the porcelain has a heavy, dense feel to it like ours, it’s high fired; if it feels light and “airy”, chances are it is of lower quality and a lower firing temperature. caress it….

Please note that a Shipping Unit (SU) consists of 6 porcelain cups.
